# Add a DropInBlog Blog to Kartra

A YOUR CODE section on a new Kartra page displays your blog, while the two code snippets from your DropInBlog account bring the blog posts to that page. The setup takes less than 5 minutes.
## How to Install DropInBlog on Kartra
1. Create a new page in Kartra by going to **Pages** → **+ Page**.
2. Select **Blank Page**.
3. Use the menu on the left to name your page and turn on the toggle next to **Import all global elements from site**.
4. Click **Create**.
5. In the page builder, click the **Add Section** button, find the **YOUR CODE** section, and drag and drop it onto the page.
6. Select the YOUR CODE section, then click the pencil icon to edit it. The code editor will have an empty div tag. Don’t delete this tag.
7. Go to the **Code & Layout** page of your DropInBlog account and copy the code under **Blog Script**.
8. Return to Kartra and paste the Blog Script code into the YOUR CODE section just under the div tag.
9. Go back to the **Code & Layout** page in DropInBlog and copy the code under **Blog Container**.
10. Return to Kartra, paste the Blog Container code into the YOUR CODE section under the Blog Script code, and exit the code editor.
11. Select **Publish Live** from the **Actions** dropdown.
12. On the following screen, select **Get page link** and copy the link.
13. Paste the blog link in a new tab to visit the page.
14. Return to the **Code & Layout** page of your DropInBlog account and click the **Verify Integration** button. If prompted, paste the page link and click **Check Integration**. You’ll see a message confirming your blog is live.
## Where Your Kartra Blog Lives
Your posts are stored and managed in your DropInBlog account, and they show up on your own domain, on the Kartra page you just published. The blog homepage URL looks like this:
* `your-domain-name/blog-name`
Individual blog posts follow the same URL structure with `?p=` between the blog name and the blog post title:
* `your-domain-name/blog-name/?p=blog-post-title`
For cleaner post URLs, see the SEO Supercharger step at the end of [Verifying the Integration](#2-verifying-the-integration).

Kartra doesn’t have a blog engine of its own. If you built posts from Kartra’s blog page templates, they stay as regular Kartra pages after you add DropInBlog.
## Verifying the Integration
Check whether everything’s connected by creating a new blog post:
1. Open the **Posts** page of your DropInBlog account and click **Add Blog Post**.
2. Add your content using the DropInBlog editor, customize the post settings on the right side of the page, and select **Published** under **Status**.
3. Click **View Blog**, then find and open your new blog post, and check that its text, media, and links display properly on your Kartra site.
### One More Step: Turn On the SEO Supercharger
If your test post looks right, the integration is done. Search engines like Google can read your posts already, even though they load in the visitor’s browser. Some other bots and the previews you get when sharing a link don’t wait for that, and they only see the page’s raw HTML.

Turning on the SEO Supercharger in your DropInBlog account gives those a flat static HTML version of every post. It also drops the `?p=` part from post URLs, helps your blog load faster, and improves how posts look when shared. It’s part of every DropInBlog plan.

Follow the steps in the[ __SEO Supercharger doc__](https://docs.dropinblog.com/en/article/the-seo-supercharger-w-cloudflare-connection-wyhm09/) to turn it on.
## Styling
Your blog takes on your Kartra site’s fonts and colors, so it should blend in without extra work. To change the inherited styles, edit the design options in DropInBlog by going to **Code & Layout** → **Design** → **Design Customizations**.

To make CSS-based changes, add your CSS under **Custom CSS**, in the **Advanced Options** section below **Design** on the **Code & Layout** page.
## Troubleshooting
If your blog isn’t showing up, check these first:
* Check that you republished the page after adding your DropInBlog blog code. To fix this, select **Publish Live** from Kartra’s **Actions** dropdown.
* Check that the empty div tag is present in the YOUR CODE section. If you removed it, delete the YOUR CODE section and add it again. This time, paste your DropInBlog code under the div tag.
* Check that both DropInBlog code snippets are inside the YOUR CODE section. The integration will work only if you copy and paste both the code under **Blog Script** and **Blog Container**. Copy whichever one is missing and paste it into Kartra.
* Check that the Blog URL in DropInBlog matches your live page. In DropInBlog, go to **Settings** and make sure **Blog URL** matches the link you copied from **Get page link**.
Still not working? Contact DropInBlog support and include a link to your blog page.
## Limitations
A couple of Kartra features work differently with a DropInBlog blog:
* You can’t create a blog post using Kartra’s page editor. You create your blog content in your DropInBlog account.
* Every post loads on the same Kartra page, so Kartra’s page analytics and split testing count all your posts as a single page view. **Solved:** connect Google Analytics to DropInBlog, and you’ll see traffic for each post on the **Analytics** page of your DropInBlog account ([__how to connect it__](https://docs.dropinblog.com/en/article/connect-google-analytics-with-dropinblog-1hvmo4b/)).
