# How to feature recent blog posts on the homepage of your Shopify store

## Adding the Recent Posts section
Log in to your Shopify account, and find the **Online Store** tab on the left side of your user dashboard.

After clicking on it, a new page, **Themes**, will open.

On the **Themes** page, look for the **Customize** button in the lower-right part of the screen.

Clicking on the **Customize** button will open the page editor, where you can add a new section – DropInBlog Recent Posts.

Choose where you want your recent posts to show, and look for the blue plus sign.

When you hover over it, you’ll see the **Add section** button. Once you click on it, a new window will pop up, showing all available sections you can add.

Here, you’ll see two tabs: **Sections** and **Apps**.

Select **Apps**, then **DropInBlog Recent Posts**.

This will add the recent posts section to your page.

On the left side of the screen, you can then change how this section looks.

You can adjust the following settings:

* Change the section title (the default title is “Recent Posts,” but you can change that to anything you want).
    
* Set the number of posts you want to be displayed in this section.
    
* Choose the display style – you can show your posts as a list (linked text) or posts (this includes a post image, author, title, category, reading time, and date).
    
* Select which posts you want to show, i.e., display posts only from the categories you choose.

Once you’re happy with how this section looks, click the **Save** button in the upper-right corner of the page.

 The final step is to view your live site. To do that, click on the **three dots** at the top-left corner of the page, and select **View**.

Your recent posts should appear on the homepage of your Shopify store.
