Adding images and files to your blog post

DropInBlog lets you upload images, PDFs, Word documents, CSVs, and Excel files to your posts.

Below, you can watch the video tutorial which demonstrates the process of adding images and files to your DropInBlog post.

To add an image to your post, click anywhere inside the content editor, drag the image from your computer, and drop it inside that area.

The image will appear in the content editor and will be uploaded to the File Manager.

To view your uploaded files, click the image icon at the top of the content editor.

Once in the File Manager, you will see all the files you’ve uploaded.

Another way to add an image to your post is simply by copying and pasting it.

To do this, right-click the image you want to copy, and, from the drop-down menu, select Copy Image.

Then, right-click inside the DropInBlog content area, and select Paste.

The third way to add an image is from within the File Manager.

To open the File Manager, click the Image icon in the post toolbar.

You can then drag an image from your computer, and drop it directly into the File Manager.

A popup will appear, displaying the progress of your upload.

You can also open the File Manager, click the green Upload button, then Browse.

After that, locate the image in your local storage, click on it, and wait for the File Manager to add it to your media library.

The last option is to open the File Manager, click Upload, and drag and drop your image inside the upload popup.

To add an image to your post, hover over it, and select Insert.

To add a PDF to your content, highlight the text you want to link to the file, then click the link icon.

A new window will open. Select the file icon to the right of the URL field and you’ll be directed to the File Manager.

Drag your PDF file and drop it into the File Manager, wait for it to upload, and click Insert, which will appear when you hover over the file.

Confirm your choice by clicking the Insert button in the next window.

That’s it!
