Using the Blog Voice AI feature
Learn how to enable and customize the Blog Voice AI™ feature to turn your written content into audio articles.
The Blog Voice AI™ feature can be turned on or off from the Settings page.
If this feature isn’t turned on for your blog, you’ll see a greyed-out toggle under the Blog Voice AI™ section.
When you toggle the switch on, you’ll have a few options to customize the AI voice for your blog.
These options allow you to select the language (1) and the accent of the AI voice (2). You can then filter the available AI voices by gender (3), and select one of the voices from the middle column (5). When you click on the play button next to the voice you want to use, it will read the text from the Voice demo text box (6), but you can type in anything you want to get a better picture of how the voice sounds.
The Player text (4) is what will be shown on the audio player right below the article title and post meta.
The default text is “Listen to article,” but you can change this text to anything you wish.
If you have multiple authors on your blog, you can assign a different AI voice to each author.
To do that, go to the Authors page, and click on the pencil icon next to the author profile to edit it.
This will open the author’s profile page, and, on the right side of the screen, below the author’s image, you need to turn the toggle under Blog Voice AI™ on.
Doing so will open the options for customizing the AI voice. You can select the language, accent, and gender of the AI voice.
Once you’ve selected a unique voice for the author, click on the Save Author button at the bottom of the page to apply the changes.
That’s it! Your visitors can now listen to your articles.
Happy blogging!
