DropInBlog integration guide for Webador

In this guide, you’ll learn how to add a blog to your Webador site. The integration steps include creating a new page with an embed code element, adding your DropInBlog blog code, and syncing Webador with DropInBlog. Let’s begin!

Prerequisites

Before you begin, check that you meet these requirements:

  • You’re subscribed to Webador’s Pro plan or higher.
  • You have an active DropInBlog account.

Integration Steps

To add DropInBlog to your Webador site, follow these four steps:

  1. Create a new page in Webador.
  2. Add the Embed Code element to your new Webador page.
  3. Paste your DropInBlog code snippets onto your new page.
  4. Verify the integration.

Step 1: Create a new page on Webador

To start, log in to your Webador account and click on the Edit button next to the site you want to edit.

Open a website from Webador admin

This will open the page editor. Select the Pages tab at the top, then click on the New page button to create a new page.

In the pop-up that appears, enter the name of your new page (e.g., blog), and click on Add at the bottom to create a blank page.

Step 2: Add the Embed Code element to your new Webador page

You now have a new blog page on your Webador site. Use the left-side menu to drag and drop the Embed Code element onto that page, then click on Edit embed to open the HTML editor.

The next screen you’ll see is the one shown below. This is where you’ll add your DropInBlog blog code.

Step 3: Paste your DropInBlog code snippets onto your new page

You’ll find your DropInBlog code on the Code & Layout page of your DropInBlog account, under Blog Script and Blog Container.

Copy the code under Blog Script, then paste it into Webador’s HTML editor. Return to DropInBlog and copy the code under Blog Container, then paste that code into Webador right below the code you pasted earlier.

The code you added to Webador should look something like what is shown in the screenshot below.

Cick on the Save button on the right side of the screen, then open your blog page in a new tab. To do that, click on the external link icon.

After you’ve visited your blog, proceed to the final step of the integration.

Step 4: Verify the integration

Open the Code & Layout page of your DropInBlog account and click the Verify Integration button.

Copying blog page URL

If asked to add a link to your blog page, visit that page to copy the link, then paste it into DropInBlog. You should then see a message saying that your blog is live.

If, for any reason, you don’t see this message, use the Message us link.

Add new content to your Webador blog

Your new Webador blog should be live now, and now you can start adding new content. You’ll do this from your DropInBlog account:

  • Open the Posts page, then click on Add Blog Post to start a new post.
  • Add your content, while ensuring it’s optimized for traditional and AI-based searches.
  • Publish your blog post.

When you publish a new post through your DropInBlog account, it will automatically appear on your blog.

Troubleshooting

If, for some reason, the blog content isn’t showing on your Webador site, consider the following steps:

  • Make sure you copied the code from both Step 1 and Step 2 and added it to Webador.
  • Check if the URL of your new Webador page matches the one in your DropInBlog account.
